Gladman is a Holder of a BSc Agriculture (Honours in Animal Science and Production; Makerere University, Kampala, Uganda) and MSc Crop and Soil Crop and Soil Science (Forage Production and Management; Michigan State University, East Lansing, Michigan USA). He is a livestock, range and environmental management planner and extentionist with more than 35 years experience in Livestock and Range Management Planning, Extension Training, CBNRM, Conservation Farming, Rural Development Project Planning, and Implementation Management. He has also been involved in collaborations with government departments, parastatals, national and international NGOs in Zimbabwe and the SADC Region.  Gladman is one of the Founding Directors of SAFIRE.

Simba is a trained Rural and Urban Planner and has been with SAFIRE for more than 12  years. Simba has earned his spot in rural development primarily in project management   focusing on programming and monitoring and evaluation in areas of natural resources   management, food security and livelihood improvements, disaster risk reduction, climate   change and natural resources policy.

A holder of a Masters Degree in Management of Development –Specialization in Rural  Development and HIV/AIDS obtained from The Netherlands, (Van Hall Larenstein   University), Estella joined SAFIRE in March 2003. With over a decade of working with rural   communities she has gained experience working with partners and mainstreaming HIV and   gender at organization and community level.

A holder of a BSc in Agri- Business (Solusi University), Nkosana joined SAFIRE in 2013 and   has experience in value chain development; change process facilitation; team development   and leadership; convening and hosting dialogues and interaction with diplomacy and tact   amid significant, influential and diverse groups. He also enjoys employing innovative and   enriching approaches to complex problems and has provided advisory services in the areas of business & entrepreneurship development, financial & market linkages, writing and   analysis of project proposals, agricultural and community development programs.

Patson joined SAFIRE in 2008. He Holds a BSc honours in Forestry Resource and Wildlife management with the National University of Science and Technology (N.U.S.T) and is currently working towards completion of an MSc degree in Ecological Resource Management with the Midlands State University. He is a member of the African Forest Forum with special experience in climate change, disaster risk mitigation and environmental policy engagement and advocacy. Patson is passionate about resource conservation and uplifting of community lives through improving their capacity for self -reliance based on sustainable utilisation of their environmental resources.
